Ron MacASkill update

hi everyone this is Wendy MacAskill here. since the postings about ron, he has since passed away on March 26,2010 from prostate cancer metastatic prostate cancer and that was for 41 months according to his doctor. and he also had paraparesis or complete paraylsis from waist down to legs due to spinal tumor. the spinal tumor he had for two weeks and paraparesis also for two weeks since march 7,2010 until the day he died. and septic shock was on the day he died that caused his bp drop rapidly and heart failure, kidney failure due to stents being blocked despite changing stents they were still blocked up according to his doctor Dr John Schmitt at William Beaumont Hospital -Royal Oak,MI. he died at william beaumont hospital s 4 East in CICU-critial care icu ward at 6:55 pm ET on Friday,March 26,2010.. when he was taken down there he was already unconscious going in and out of consciousness. I was there for twelve hours waiting in the icu waiting room.. til 6 am then we left then came back he was already gone. I didnt get to tell him goodbye. I got there barely five mins and he was gone.. . i was there with my friends kate slosar, susan lundy, judy and larry vardon and interpreter who took us to different room along the way i met rons coworkers judy and john McNally, and katie and tim johnson, then after the y told us how ron died, they took me to behind the curtain where his lifeless body laid on bed.. i cried so hard on top of him and at his funeral too now i really miss him so bad.. i wish i was with him cuz its so hard to be alone without him taking me to Special Olympics softball practice and anything i do like Jarc Springelation. my parents came in ten mins after ron died i told them i n the conference room about Ron and we signed the form for autopsy and then they took hi s body down there and then to the funeral home at Dorfman funeral home and we picked out casket and planned his service there and audio tape on the page and they gave me copy of audio tape and dvd and his brother Lloyd and sis in law Diane MacAskill and our niece Meredith MacAskill came into town for Ron s funeral. we all miss him now. life will not be the same without him . i will try to post some pics after i get them from pics negatives to cd or dvd form then i can upload to my page. there is a memorial page on my face book page. if you have face book go check it out " in memory of Ronald D MacAskill" july 22,1942-march 26,2010 on my profile page click the link then click join will see the page. if you have pictures of us to put on there, use your scanner and scan the pictures to the page.
